On Wednesday, September 30, the government adopted several decrees on opening access to land and property registries.
It is said in the statement of the Cabinet.
"In particular, the Government adopted the resolution, according to which citizens of Ukraine shall be able to view, copy and print information on subjects of real rights listed in the State Land Cadaster" – the statement reads.
Also, all land owners will be notified about persons asking for information about them.
This decision, according to officials, will ensure compliance with the lawful rights and interests of citizens to receive information.
In addition, public access to registries which are operated by the Ministry of Justice will be expanded.
"Ukrainians will be able to receive information on the property under the name of any person, first of all, this initiative aims to open data on the property of civil servants", – the press-service informed.
"Citizens will be able to know what real estate state officials own. This is an additional anti-corruption control ", – the government emphasized.
