Actors of Lviv Theatre named after Maria Zankovetska came to Transcarpathia on tour. They showed two performances in Uzhgorod – Lesya Ukrainka’s drama "Blue Rose" and the comedy "Top Hat".
The comedy was shown in the evening. The show was sold out. After it, the audience gave standing ovation.
Uzhgorod audience received the guests warmly. Lviv actors admit that they like to come to Transcarpathia. However, they expect the audience to be more focused.
People’s Artist of Ukraine Yevhen Fedorchenko told that our city is like a magnet pulling him here. He has been here a few times, but not with the theater. In turn, People’s Artist of Ukraine Yaroslav Muka wishes he could come to the regional center Transcarpathia more often. He likes to stand on the pedestrian bridge and look at the Uzh. He is a fan of fishing, so he likes to watch the fish fed by Uzhgorod residents from the bridge.
As for the Transcarpathian Drama Theatre, it will open the jubilee theatrical season very soon.
This was announced by the director of the Transcarpathian theater Vasyl Mariukhnych. In the new season, actors of the Transcarpathian theater will show many interesting performances. Theater companies from other cities of Ukraine will also come to Uzhgorod. The details will be announced later.
