High Archbishop awarded the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council

The unique large-scale project "European values for Ukrainian children" has finished  

The implementation of this project was made possible by the Hungarian party: the Hungarian government and the Honorary Consulate General of Hungary in Ukraine, who not only created the conditions for issuance of entry Schengen visas for Ukrainians, but assumed all costs of transportation, accommodation, meals and organization of quality recreation.

On September 3, 2015, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre, there was a charity concert "European values for Ukrainian children."

Among the guests, there were the High Archbishop of Kyiv and Galicia Sviatoslav Shevchuk, honorary consuls in the city of  Uzhgorod and the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, famous Ukrainians, patrons, volunteers and benefactors.

Deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council headed by the Chairman of the Council Volodymyr Chubirko also participited in the campaign.

Sviatoslav Shevchuk thanked the deputies represented by Volodymyr Chubirko for charity and awarded the Diploma. 

    

 

During the summer of 2015, 680 children of the ATO participants and IDPs aged 8 to 16 have rested in Hungary. Every Sunday, a group of 65 kids would leave to the summer camp on the Velence Lake (Hungary). Boys and girls attended classes and games, trips and many other activities. They were accompanied by volunteers, doctors, social pedagogues and psychologists.
