What will the Day of the City in Uzhgorod be like this year?

Traditionally, the Day of Uzhgorod will be celebrate on the last weekend of the first month of autumn, that is September 25-26, 2015.

Uzhgorod city council prelimanarily scheduled to hold a series of official and entertaining, sporting events.

Traditionally,numerous sports events in venues and yards, thematic meetings, meetings in libraries and schools will be held.

Concerts at several locations will take place, including concerts of children’s and amateur artistic groups, rock bands.

Also, as part of the celebration of Uzhgorod birthday, the 15th jubilee international thater festival "Interlialka" will be held.

There will be film screenings, charity auctions, entertainment in the "Pidzamkovy" and "Bozdosh" parks, in the territory of the Rock Garden, open-airs, art and photo exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations by students and teachers of music, art schools.

Art and agricultural fairs will be organized. 

There will also be a charitable location of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers.

According to the "Tourinform Transcarpathia", on 26-27 of September, 2015, in Uzhgorod there will be the largest International Tourism Fair "TourEuroCenter – Transcarpathia 2015", where new trends and current opportunities of the tourism industry will be presented.
