The artist Laszlo Magyar will present its works in Uzhgorod (Announcement)

On September 11 at 17.00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, there will be the opening of the personal exhibition of works by Laszlo Magyar – painter, the head of the I.Reves Association of Hungarian artists of Transcarpathia. 

Laszlo Magyar was born on July 8, 1955 in Chop. He received art education at Uzhgorod School of Applied Arts. In 1993 he joined the I.Reves Society of Hungarian artists of Transcarpathia, in 2002 – became its head. In 2006, he became a member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. He was awarded with the Golden Cross "For Merits" of the Republic of Hungary. Participated in many exhibitions and plein airs in Ukraine and abroad.

Laszlo Magyar is the successor of the traditions of Transcarpathian school of painting. According to the artist himself, he works in impressionism and post-impressionism styles. He creates in various genres, including landscape.

The exhibition will feature about fifty works by the author. It is dedicated to the 60th anniversary that the artist celebrated not long ago.
