As reported yesterday, in the morning in the area of Zhemayte-Shvabska streets-Svoboda Ave., there were several explosions, black smoke, pungent odor.
The Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region explained that on September 2 at 9:30 am, the rescue service of Transcarpathia had received a report on fire on Shvabska street. The department the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the regional center was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, it turned out that a car VAZ-21051 was burning in the garage. Upon the arrival of firefighters, the flames had already fully engulfed the garage space. According to witnesses, just as the driver had driven the vehicle into the garage, clouds of smoke started coming out of it and flames appeared. The man failed to put down the fire using a fire extinguisher, and neighbors began to call "101".
The cause of the fire and damage are to be established. The fire destroyed the passenger car, damaged the garage and the car trailer that was there.
