Upon notification, the inspector of the Transcarpathian regional police immediately sent to the scene the detention group of Uzhgorod District Police.
At the scene of the crime, they arrested a woman born in 1957, who after having drunk too much alcohol had killed her partner during a family quarrel. The murder weapon was a kitchen knife. With a penetrating blow to the heart area, she inflicted an injury incompatible with life.
The 58-year-old man died on the spot. The police officers took the detained woman to Uzhgorod district police station for further establishment of the circumstances of the tragedy. The criminal proceeding over this fact has been initiated.
