A tree fell on Kyivska embankment (Photo-fact)

Eyewitnesses say that the chestnut tree fell after 12 o’clock. Tree "blocked" the traffic on Kyivska embankment in Uzhgorod.

The chestnut tree does not look old. Therefore, it is not known what caused its fall. Thanks God, no one was hurt – people say. A woman who passing by started to shout: "Where are cameras, why they are not filming it?" The emergency happened right in front of the office of the "Tisa" TV channel…

However, people with a chainsaw arrived, you might say, quickly (in an hour) and began to remove the remnants of the fallen tree. The works are ongoing.

Uzhgorod in appeals to public utilities, city management and related services to inspect chestnuts trees on Kiyv embankment, lest there be trouble in the future.
