The changes in the city government were announced by one of the deputy mayors Yaroslav Shafar. He argues that Volodymyr Flenko, who was in charge of Uzhgorod utilities, has been replaced with Ivan Shkyrta who "works with the team of Moskal."
Today, at the morning meeting with heads of departments, the Mayor Victor Pogorelov introduced Ivan Shkyrta as the acting deputy mayor – Zakarpattya-online informed.
Ivan Shkyrta was born on August 2, 1968, in 1993 he graduated from the Ukrainian State Agrarian University (Kyiv) majoring in "Agronomics", and in 2006 – Uzhgorod National University majoring in "Jurisprudence".
From 1997, he worked as the Head of Advertising and Marketing department of the "Laky-Farby" LLC (the city of Uzhgorod). From 2002 – the deputy director of the "Synevyr" LLC in the city of Uzhgorod.
Then, he headed Yahotyn District State Administration in Kyiv region in 2010-11, then Boryspil District State Administration.
In 2011-2014, he worked as the deputy chairman of the Kyiv Regional Council, last year he was appointed the director of the State Enterprise "Administration of river ports", but not for long – he became assistant of the People’s Deputy Valery Patskan.
