At a time when Transcarpathian business united to improve the investment environment and suggested the State to do an economic experiment in the Transcarpathian region to open door to the world-famous companies, the event, which basically closes the region for foreign business, happenned.
We need to clearly and quickly assess the situation as an unfortunate situation, not a tendency. Analysis, interpretations, comments should be given with the understanding that the economy does not like noise, categorical statements, political populism. Characteristic of the region as a smuggling region is unacceptable. Transcarpathian region is the most western region of Ukraine, which has many more attractions than any other region.
The market of Transcarpathia is not smugglers, but world-famous companies: Jebil, Yazaki, Flextronix, Forshner, Groklin, others. And it is necessary to take that into account in all comments and to understand that every ill-considered phrase could further worsen the investment climate.
Transcarpathian employers urge to be considerate and tolerant in opinions. The dismal incident in Mukachevo, which the state must deal with, is just an isolated case, and spoiled image will not allow to improve the economy to a new level for years!
