In Uzhgorod Prosecution Office, policemen pacified a drunk “fighter for justice”

A resident of Uzhgorod burst into the building of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecution Office with insults and demands to let him in. There, "in the name of justice," he cut his veins

Recently, a 30-year-old resident of Uzhgorod came to the Transcarpathia regional prosecution office. The man came up to the door shouting and demanded the guard to let him because he wanted a meeting with the prosecutors for the sake of justice. The policeman informed the citizen that it was a day off, but he would report on his visit to the duty prosecutor. The man did not want to wait – he jumped over the barrier into the lobby.

This behavior of the man, forced the policemen to call for backup.

Seeing that, the bully resorted to verbal abuse, tried to force the officer to cancel the call to the police. But when the threat did not help, he pulled a cutting object out of the pocket and inflicted himself cuts between the right hand and elbow.

According to the eyewitness – a civil guard, who was performing his professional duties at the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office – the guy began to cut his wrists without apparent reason, but he was noticeably anxious.

It should be added that later it turned out that the same day, around 13.20, the 30-year-old resident of Uzhgorod in the shoe store on Mynaiska street had stolen from the counter a box with women’s sandals and ran from the store.  Officers of Uzhgorod police caught the thief. The physical evidence – sandals – was seized, but the citizen refused to give any explanation citing Article 63 of the Constitution of Ukraine.

Currently the investigation continues. And the drunk "fighter for justice" was timely given the first aid.
