In Velyky Berezny district, a group of illegal migrants from Africa was detained

While taking special measures "Frontier-2015", yesterday, on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, border guards of the Chop detachment detained another group of illegal immigrants, this time – people from Africa.

While monitoring the area, border guards of the department "Stuzhytsya" stationed in Velyky Berezny district, using optical devices, detected a group of unknown persons moving toward the border with Slovakia. This information was transferred to the joint Ukrainian-Slovak unit, which was patrolling the area. Later, a half kilometers to the border in Ukraine, the said patrol group arrested three men and one woman who did not have any IDs. The offenders told border guards that they were nationals of Somali and intended to get to Slovakia.

Later it was found out that two men had previously been detained for the attempted illegal crossing of Ukrainian-Slovak border. Currently, the remaining offenders are being identified, verification measures are being conducted. The fate of the detainees will be determined by court.
