Famous football manager Dmytro Selyuk assumed that some players of Uzhgorod "Goverla" could be involved in corruption schemes.
– Consider a club like Uzhgorod "Goverla". The team has not been paying wages for more than a year, and when it does – it pays only to some and in small amounts.
However, only a few players that have contracts with the club (it is does not apply to on-loan players, they are usually paid by a club they have contracts with) expressed a desire to leave Uzhgorod. For me, this is a clear sign that they are involved in some corruption schemes, otherwise what’s the point of playing for free? – "Segodnya" quoted Selyuk.
