On the highway “Kyiv-Chop”, the police detained two cars with 8 illegal migrants

The measures under the joint operation "Frontier-2015" continue. To prevent the movement of illegal migrants across the border, joint patrolling is conducted not only in the border area, but also far from the state border. The positive result of such patrolling was the detention of 8 illegal migrants by border guards and the police.

Thus, in the town of Nyzhni Vorota, on the highway "Kyiv – Chop", a joint patrol of law enforcement officers of the Mukachevo Detachment and traffice police stopped two cars in which citizens of Ukraine without IDs were transporting immigrants from Asia and Africa.

 A resident of Vinnytsia region was carrying 5 citizens of Afghanistan in a minibus "Mercedes".  Another our compatriot was carrying 3 citizens of Somalia in the same direction in a car "VAZ".

All the detainees were handed over to officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for further investigation.
