Since the beginning of the year, with the assistance of local bodies of the SFS in Transcarpathian region, labor of 655 people has been legalized. Transcarpathians have received not only obligations but also rights that are guaranteed by law. Official employment of citizens benefited the budget too – 112,000 UAH of the tax on personal income and 237,000 UAH of the single contribution for obligatory state social insurance.
Experts of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region reminded that illegal employment is unstable, irregular, and therefore risky and does not guarantee employment income. Such illegal employment deprives employees of many social rights under the Constitution of Ukraine and the Labour Code of Ukraine: pensions, entitlement to benefits for temporary disability, paid leave, unemployment benefits, labor protection, it is not counted for work experience.
Experts of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region note that legal employment is in the interests of workers, employers and the state alike.
