Regional development projects at nearly UAH 120 million are bing implemented in Transcarpathia

The deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Mykhailo Rivis told which investment programs and regional development projects are included in the list of funding from the State Regional Development Fund in 2015.

  

The money of the State Regional Development Fund are primarily used for the implementation of investment programs for regional development, including cooperation projects and voluntary association of communities. To create infrastructure of industrial and innovative parks in the region, these projects meet the priorities identified in the National Strategy of Regional Development and the regional strategies of regional development, the experts of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the RSA informed.

Programs and projects implemented at the espense of the State Regional Development Fund are to be co-financed from local budgets at 10%, the experts added.

During the meeting of the regional commission, it was announced that the Regional State Administration submitted to the Interdepartmental commission for conformity assessment of investment programs and regional development projects 58 projects totaling UAH 118.250 million and two facilities with the credit debts for previous years amounting to UAH 1,170 million.

"Taking into account the comments of the Interdepartmental Commission chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko, the regional commission excluded from the list four projects totaling UAH 8.119 million and included additional investment projects at the corresponding amount," – Mykhailo Rivis said.

The priority projects are educational, medical and cultural institutions; roads, drainage systems, water supply network and facilities and so on.
