Irshava district council deputies asked their colleagues from the Regional Council not to change the boundaries of the district during the implementation of administrative-territorial reform and to form community associations exclusively on a voluntary basis.
In their appeal, Irshava deputies emphasize that discussion the reform and activities of working groups on this issue should be as open as possible with the assistance of experts in history, economics, law, members of the district council and representatives of settlements of the district.
"To keep Irshava district, particularly as geographical, historical, economic, infrastructure and, most importantly, human unity. Regarding Irshava district, we consider it one indivisible community following the terms of the Law of Ukraine "On voluntary association of communities." The final version of the proposal for division of the district shall be adopted (submitted) only by decision of village, city councils of the district and thedistrict council" – the appeal reads.
Recall that deputies of Beregovo district appealed to the state leadership with the same request.
