Today, June 19, public will not be allowed to be at the session of Uzhgorod city council. Only deputies and journalists are let into the session hall.

As explained by the Deputy Mayor of Uzhgorod Volodymyr Flenko, the city council decided to introduce a special access control. The public will not be allowed in the hall. The reason is that people disrupt sessions and do not let deputies adopt important decisions. According to Flenko, last time they failed to hold the session and allocate money for cancer patients because of that.
People were not let to the session hall. However, the public was allowed to go to the second floor of the room.
Only a few activists managed to get to the hall. In the building of the city council, there are a lot of policemen.
People promise to sue the city council.
Victor Pogorelov, opened the meeting and commented on the situation in one phrase: "There must be some order." Then, the session began. 38 deputies registered, the session is valid.
