The third Saturday of June is the International Day when masters of quilt making from around the world come together and sew in open air popularizing this needlework.
"This year, I celebrate this day in Uzhgorod. Therefore, I invite all Uzhgorod residents, who like needlework, to join me," – Irina Lukashenko, the organizer of the event writes in the group "Uzhgorod" on facebook.
She invites to come to Teatralna Square, in the park under chestnuts near the Philharmonic on June 20 at 11.00. The "Needlework Picnic" will be held there.
Bring along needles, threads, various pieces of fabric, scissors – it is needed for the master class.
Also, you can bring your own works, because they plan to arrange a sort of improvisation exhibition. And do not forget to bring a good mood 🙂
