The smallest urban secondary school №6 on Pershotravneva (Lemakovytsya) Street – now Vynogradiv educational complex – is well known for its progressiveness. Last year, a training with representatives of the US Peace Corps in Ukraine was conducted there. A volunteer from Los Angeles Robin Lovell taught students English there. Also, the management of Vynogradiv educational complex promotes visits of interesting people from the world of volunteer community to the institution.
And now, there is a new joint project Ukraine – the US, initiated by the American artist Marvin Campbell and implemented by Vynogradiv educational complex: open district creative competition "Waterfowl of Ukraine", which determined the best art-works among school students of Vynogradiv district.
Under the provisions of the competition, 36 best pictures were selected, the 16 best works will be sent to famous American artist, co-organizer of the competition Marvin Campbell. So in June, the winners will receive diplomas and valuable prizes (in particular, 36 quarterfinalists – 200 UAH each, 1st place – 1,000 UAH, 2nd place – 600 UAH, 3rd place – 400 UAH, and the author of the best picture will receive as much as 2,000 UAH from partners of the event.
Meanwhile, the best works of American children are on display in the school.
