Sad news for lovers of tourism in Transcarpathia – tourist shelter "Yavirnyk" was destroyed by fire
"Sad news for fans of mountain tourism in Transcarpathia and the Mt. Yavirnyk. Yesterday, as a result of careless handling of fire, the old shelter, which was built by the Czechs in 1930s, burned down. Probably these are some of the last photos of the shelter" – the facebook community Velyky Berezny-online reported.
According to the Uzhinform, the two-storey tourist shelter had everything necessary for rest and overnight stay.
It was a real shelter for those who wanted to stay for a night, get warm, take some water from a stream and go further into the mountains.
The tourist shelter was built by the Czechs in 1936, and all this time he has been served exclusively for such purposes.
