The regional administration appealed to the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation with a proposal to provide recommendations on the establishment of the regional energy agency.
The region has already made the first step – adopted the strategy of substitution of natural gas in boiler rooms in public sector institutions of Transcarpathian region for alternative fuels and electricity in 2015-2020.
The agency is to be established for the implementation of the concept of sustainable energy development in Transcarpathia.
