In Transcarpathia, a 13-year-old runaway was found

A 13-yearold resident of Tyachiv ran from his grandmother, he lives with, to visit a friend in Mukachevo. The seventh grader’s mother is working abroad, so the schoolboy is not properly cared for.

Late at night, employees of Mukachevo bus station called the city police. They reported that some boy was hanging around the bus station.

Officers of the criminal police for children arrived at the station. It was found out that the 13-year-old Volodya lives in thr village of Hryshevo in Tyachiv district. The boy left home early in the morning and came to Mukachevo where he visted his friend, who is studying at a local boarding school.

The visit to Mukachevo took a long time, and the boy missed a bus to Tyachiv. Or he did not want to go back home… So he was looking for a place to stay for the night. He would approach to the people in uniform and ask where he could spend the night.

At the police station, where the child was brought to, the seventh grader said that he lives with his grandmother. His mother is working abroad in the Czech Republic. She rarely comes home. So the child is not brought up properly.

It was not the first time Volodya ran away from home. The police officers notified the grandmother in Tyachiv district about her grandson, but she did not want to take him home. So police officers referred the runaway to the orphanage in the village of Batyevo in Beregovo district.

Within 90 days, while the teenager will be supported by the state, the issue of whether he should be returned to the family or transferred to other institutions will be decided.
