NBU exempted the Treasury from fees on the sale of foreign currency

The National Bank has exempted the State Treasury Service from fees on the sale of foreign currency.

This is stated in the resolution of the NBU №224 dd. April 9.

The regulator also exempted the Ministry of Finance from fees on the sale of foreign currency, but this applies only to currency that is transferred to the Ministry of Finance under the interstate and intergovernmental agreements on provision financial support to Ukraine.

In addition, by the same resolution, the regulator also limited fee for transactions in government securities at 1,500 UAH.

Transactions with government securities are subject to fee in amount of 0.1% of the transaction amount, but while previously such fee was not limited, after the adoption of the resolution it can not exceed 1,500 UAH.
