The Chairman of the Regional Council said that today after the meeting of the extraordinary session of the Regional Council.

"The situation in Uzhgorod is difficult, there is the power crisis there. In the city council, there has long been no such thing as political factions, there are only factions "by interests". Deputies redistribute property, land resources as they think fit. We can not interfere in the affairs of the city, but we have suggested to take several steps.

First, to remove the city officials from the office, and to form a temporary government, which will be managing Uzhgorod until the elections. Second, to introduce moratorium on land allocation to anyone, except for participants of the ATO, and a ban on the distribution of any city property until the local elections," – Volodymyr Chubirko said.

Recall that the next session of Uzhgorod City Council is scheduled for April 9.
