Very soon, every home and every human heart will be full of Easter joy: Roman Catholics will celebrate the important Christian holiday in a week, and Orthodox and Greek Catholics – in two weeks. And now it is Lent – the time of penance and spiritual renewal.
The Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic wish to fill the Lent period with a sublime, inspired, sacred sound.
In particular, on March 29, the will be a concert of the soloists of the "Harmonia" ensemble. The "Music of the Lent" will be presented to the audience by Oksana Ilnytska-Kharkhalis (mezzo-soprano), Miroslavs Svakh-Pekar (soprano), Oleksandr Tovt (tenor).
The program is enriched with solo performances and accompaniment of organ players – the soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Olesya Hayduk and Olga Chundak. The host is Natalia Pitsur.
Refined sacred music is represented by works of Bach, Handel, Skarlatti, Pergolesi, Dvorjak, Bizet, Barber.
The concert starts at 16.00. For soldiers of the ATO, the admission is free!
