Consumers owe nearly 30 million hryvnia to the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod". Given that the population of the regional center of Transcarpathia is 140 thousand (approximately), on average, every Uzhgorod residents owes 200,000 UAH.
Recall that every year, the City Hall "subsidizes" the company with millions from the city budget!
Perhaps, in order to put at least moral "pressure" on debtors, they planned to introduce payment by receipts. First, the relevant "print-outs" will be delivered by controllers, then by the company staff. They plan to employ 16 people.
They are going to introduce the innovation gradually: starting in April with 12 streets of the regional center. Then, they will cover the entire city.
By the way, currently, the first floor of the company office is under repairs with a view to arrange the customer department. So soon, they promise, customers will be able to come with all their problems to a comfortable "integrated services center."
And problems are likely to arise… Another increase in tariffs is expected. The relevant documents have been submitted to the National Commission. The amount of increse has not yet been disclosed. They are waiting for approval!
