At night, in Khust, an armed man was detained

A 54-year-old resident of Khust in a state of intoxication was threatening a 26-year-old man with a gun. He called the police, and the investigative team was immediately sent to the scene.
 
Around midnight, on March 10, a resident of the city of Khust called the police. The man reported that an unknown citizen was threatening him with a gun. A few minutes later, the police officers arrived at the scene and identified the attacker.
 
He was a 54-year-old resident of a village in Khust district. It was found out that the conflict between the men had arisen at a local bar. While talking with the police officers, the man told that he had gotten this gun as a gift from his friend.
 
The gun was confiscated and sent to the forensic research center at the MIA office for examination. This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Art.263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of this Article provides for imprisonment for a term of two to five years.
