In Transcarpathia, every third new building is in Uzhgorod

Almost a third of all construction works in Transcarpathian region last year was performed in Uzhgorod. 

In 2014 construction enterprises and organizations of the city performed the construction works at UAH 133.6 million, that is 32.9% of the total volume of construction works in the region.

Last year, the city developers put into operation 93,326 square meters of housing, which is 12.8% more than that in 2013.

Of the total volume of the built housing, 46.3% accounts for individual developers. The share of the city in the total volume of the commissioned housing accounted for 23.6 percent.
