In Beregovo, the driver of a “Audi A6” fatally injured a bicyclist and fled (PHOTOS)

February 28, around 18.00, in Beregovo, on B. Khmelnitsky street, near the Hungarian Consulate, there was a fatal accident.

According to witnesses of the tragedy, the car "Audi A6" hit a cyclist. The man died on the spot from his injuries.

Witnesses say that the driver immediately left the scene of the accident and fled in an unknown direction. The car was moving at high speed and was of a silver color.

Traffic police officers and investigators are working at the scene. The chief of Beregovo traffic police Yuriy Pylyp and the chief of Beregovo District Police Mykola Kurytsia also arrived at the scene.

B. Khmelnitsky Street is currently blocked. Traffic police officers are checking all the cars of the above mentioned brand that are registered in Beregovo city and district. Plan "Interception" is launched.
