National Bank forbade banks to buy foreign currency on behalf of customers

The National Bank of Ukraine introduced a temporary ban for commercial banks to buy foreign currency on behalf of customers.

This is stated in the notice by the regulator.

Reportedly, the ban was introduced for a period until February 27 inclusive.
