Poland resumed gas transit to Ukraine

Polish operator of gas transit lines – the company Gaz-System – at the request of Ukraine resumed gas transit to Ukraine through "Germanovice."

This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Gaz-System Malgorzata Polkowski, the "Ukrinform" reported.

"On February 21, we resumed gas transit to Ukraine", – she informed.

According to Polkowski, the Polish company is technically capabale to provide the transit of gas to Ukraine and fulfill the Ukrainian client’s requests.

According to data of the Gaz-System on the supply of gas through the measuring station "Germanovice", the daily volume of gas supplies to Ukraine as of February 23 is 0.8 million cubic meters.

 

The current transit capacity of Poland allows to transport to Ukraine up to 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas annually.
