Ukrainian soldiers are leaving Debaltseve, many go on foot (PHOTOS)

Ukrainian soldiers are leaving Debaltseve. This was reported by the journalist of the Hromadske Anastasia Stanko. The withdrawal began today at 6 am after the relevant order.

Many are leaving the city on foot – on road to Artemivsk they are picked up by Ukrainian units.

All units were retreating with fights.

According to the volunteer of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers Lyudmila Bandurchak, Transcarpathian 128th brigade broke out of Debaltsevo entrapment.        

The Hromadske writes: the 128th brigade and the 40th territorial defense battalion "Kryvbas" are leaving the city on foot. Also, the journalists met on the highway the MIA battalion "Lviv".

Soldiers of the "Kryvbas" say that they have not been eating for five days. They were surrounded in Novohryhorivka under constant mortar fire. The village, according to the military, was "wiped off the face of the earth."

According to the military, not all Ukrainian units have got out of Debaltseve. Inside the city, they are covered by the 3rd and the 8th Special Forces regiments.

Journalists of the Hromadske, citing the military, claim that there is no corridor – the road constantly under fire. Local residents also can not leave the town.
