Transcarpathian customs office: in January, violation of customs regulations amounted to UAH 1.2 million

During January 2015, units of the Transcarpathian customs office opened 150 cases of violation of customs regulations totalling almost 1,210,000 UAH. The amount is not final, because in 14 cases under Art. 471, 472, 482, 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the cost of the objects of offense has not yet been established.

Under 40 reports, they confiscated objects of offenses totaling 1,010,404 UAH, which is 84% of the total amount of opened cases.

Compared to the same period in 2014, customs experts note that in January 2015, the cost of objects of offenses increased by 69% or 838,811 UAH, but the number of drafted reports decreased. In particular, in January last year, 153 reports for 371,000 UAH were drawn up.
