Hungarian Reformed Service contributes to philanthropy in Ukraine

Hungarian Reformed Service on its official website published an article. in which they reported on the intention to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the Holos Karpat writes.

February 11, 2015, the aid with valuable and high quality goods will be sent to Transcarpathia. Trucks will be carrying 2-3 tons of packages with hygiene means and food that will be distributed to military hospitals, orphanages and families of the soldiers who are serving in the war. An experienced medical team will visit Transcarpathia to provide primary health care to people who currently can not recieve it.

It is estimated that in Eastern Ukraine 5.2 million people live in areas where fighting continues. Therefore, in the second half of February, the Hungarian Reformed Service goes to Eastern Ukraine, where they will visit two refugee camps located 50 km away from the war zone.
