Ukraine has increased gas imports from Slovakia

Ukraine has increased imports of natural gas through the "Vojany – Uzhgorod" pipeline to 41.411 million cubic meters per day on January 29.

This was stated by the Eustream company, the "Ukrainski Novyny" write.

The volume of daily supplies in amount of 41.411 million cubic meters is the record since the start of gas imports from Slovakia in September 2014.

According to the Slovak party, the order of Ukraine for gas supplies from Budince on January 29 totaled 39.038 million cubic meters.

As reported, the operator of the gas transport system "Ukrtransgaz" has already declared its readiness to provide supplies of natural gas from the "Vojany – Uzhgorod" pipeline in the amount of 40 million cubic meters per day.

Since January 24, the "Naftogaz Ukraine" order for the supply of gas from Slovakia has increased by 28.5%, or 8.658 million cubic meters per day to 39.019 million cubic meters per day.

September 1, 2014, Ukraine began commercial reverse supply of natural gas from Slovakia through "Vojany-Uzhgorod" pipeline.
