250,000 UAH worth of goods and a gun was stolen from an Uzhgorod residents’ apartment

An Uzhgorod couple, who were imprudent enough to leave home, became the victims of burglars.
 
Breaking into the apartment was noticed by the victim’s sister. The owners were not at home at that time. Having come to check the apartment, the sister noticed a broken door, and called the police. The investigative team was sent to the scene.
 
It was found out that unknown offenders had entered the apartment by breaking the metal-plastic door. The burglars stole about fifty items of jewelery, two "iPhones" and the gun to fire rubber bullets, which they had found in a metal box-safe. Total damage caused by the theft is 250,000 UAH.
 
The police are looking for the thieves and once again reminds citizens to take care of the protection of their personal property from thieves.
