Officers of the Chop Customs seized from a citizen of Ukraine a car "LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER". The Ukrainian was driving from Italy, crossing the state border at the checkpoint "Luzhanka" of the Chop Customs.
In order to move the car across the customs border, he presented a certificate of registration for the vehicle and a travel passport of the citizen of Ukraine.
While checking the documents, the customs officers had doubts as to the conformity of the original certificate. Because of that, experts were engaged to the customs control. As a result, the doubts were confirmed – the certificate had signs of forgery.
The actions of the citizen of Ukraine have signs of violation of customs regulations specified in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, a report on violation of customs regulations was drawn up, and the car worth 1,221,000 UAH was taken for for safekeeping until the decision of court.
