Thus, officers of the investigation and operation department of the SFS in Transcarpatian region, near one of the offices of a courier service in Khust, found a commercial car, which is owned by a local resident born in 1985.
As a result of the inspection of the luggage compartment, they found 100 plastic bottles with a capacity of 5 liters without any labeling, filled with transparent liquid with a characteristic odor of alcohol. According to the expert, the transparent substance proved to be rectified ethyl alcohol.
Currently, the excise goods estimated at 46,000 UAH and the vehicle are at safe-keeping.
The information on the illegal storage and transportation of illegally manufactured excisable goods with intent of further sale was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations. The investigation is being conducted, circle of persons involved in the commission of the criminal offense is being established.
