Mass “emigration” from Uzhgorod City Council – new details

Mass "emigration" from Uzhgorod City Council, where the "counter-revolution" has taken place, acquires new forms. The deputies, who wrote letters for resignation of deputy powers, and who were not supported by colleagues, try to leave at least parliamentary committees – in order "not to get dirty."

Recall that letters for resignation were written by Vitaliy Semal, Stepan Nimchuk, Yuriy Kostyuk, Mykhailo Roshko and Yaroslava Hasynets. The same is true for Vasyl Kruchanytsya – the Chairman of the Land Commission of the City Council.

Today, at the "counter-revolutionary" meeting, they voted only for resignation of Vitaliy Semal – actually, not just as a deputy. but the Secretary of the Council and the Acting Mayor. But resignations of other deputies were not supported. Deputy Stepan Nimchuk wrote a statement announcing his withdrawal from the Standing Committee on Budget, Finance and Taxation with the request to consider it at the session of the City Council. By the way, Mr. Stepan, formerly the manager of a regional branch of a Russian commercial bank in Western Ukraine, quit his job for ideological reasons when the aggression against Ukraine, which resulted in annexation of the Crimea, had begun.

Currently, it is the only statement of withdrawal from committee available to Uzhgorod.in. To be continued? ..
