The City Council should be improved be Uzhgorod resident themselves – the opinion of the ​​regional authorities

The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration expressed his opinion on the events that are taking place in the city government of the regional center.

The head of the region states: "About the regional center. Whatever happens today in the building on Poshtova Square, the very situation at the Uzhgorod city council, in my opinion, is a signal to the community. The signal for local elections. Then each resident of Uzhgorod, I think, will have a say, realizing their responsibility for their choice.  And then deputies will not be able to manipulate their voters, ignoring the interests of citizens ofUzhgorod."

"I believe that some unhealthy processes are taking place at the Uzhgorod city council. But only Uzhgorod residents themselves can heal the council. And this is what I wish them to do" – Vasyl Hubal said.
