There will be no permanent lavatory in the Heaven’s Hundred park!

In social networks, Uzhgorod residents express concern that in the Heaven’s Hundred park in Uzhgorod (near with regional Security Service of Ukraine office and the "Owl’s Nest" wine cellars), some construction work is being performed, and that there will be a permanent lavatory there. People rightly complain: it is no place for a permanent lavatory.

Uzhgorod.in asked the city authorities what is happening in reality. The Acting Mayor Vitaliy Semal said that he was informed of the public complaints and would control the situation in the park. He also said that he believed that it really is not a place for permanent lavatory. He said that issues related to the organization of the festival of the new wine "Beaujolais" to be held this weekend in Uzhgorod, were in the competence of the deputy mayor Yaroslav Shafar.

We phoned Mr. Yaroslav and he reassured and explained: "Yes, works are indeed being performed in the park, but not construction. They are opening access to utilities. The lavatory in the park will be erected for the period of "Beaujolais", the works are related to it. There will be no permanent lavatory in the Heaven’s Hundred park. It will be there only during the fair for 2 days, and the connection to utilities is needed because we want to install a better equipped lavatory. Immediately after the festival, it will be removed," – Yaroslav Shafar said.
