Yesterday morning, residents of the village of Kushnytsia in an amount of about 30-35 people blocked the road to Irshava, Khust and Svalyava. The villagers demand to repair the road.
The villagers say that road services for several years have not performed repairs in their village. People are afraid that with the onset of winter they will not be able to drive on local roads.
The investigative team headed by the Chief of Irshava District Police Lt. Colonel Myron Chernychko immediately arrived at the scene. The Chief of Irshava District Police explained strikers the current law with respect to the unacceptibility of traffic blocking and creating an emergency situation on the road.
After a while, the villagers unblocked the road. The situation in Kushnytsia is being monitored by police officers.
