October 21, 2014, at 11:00, in the press center of the Regional House of Journalists (Kapushanska str., 106a), there will be a press conference of the international public organization "International rescue service (Police 911)" on the activity of the "municipal police" center in the region. During the event, speakers will talk about the history of the founding of "municipal police" in the region, principles, objectives and the work of the center, as well as the "International rescue service (Police 911)" as a human rights organization.
The department of the "municipal police" was established under the Regulation "On the municipal police in Transcarpathian region" and signed by the First Vice-President of the NGO "International rescue service (Police 911)" on June 22, 2014. The international non-government organization was created back in 2009 by members of the NGO "Ukrainian Rescue Service" Pavlo Dyba and Petro Matsak with Slovak, Hungarian, Czech, Italian, Canadian colleagues.
Currently, the international NGO "IRS (Police 911)" is having talks with all the civil services and local authorities for joint patrolling and maintaining order in the villages, towns and cities.
The participants will tell about the "municipal police" and its functioning, as well as the international NGO itself:
Petro Matsak, the First Vice-President of the NGO "International rescue service (Police 911)"
Boris Borisov, the director of the IRS (Police 911) municipal police department.
Ivan Shufrych, the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod, the Vice-President of the NGO "International rescue service (Police 911)"
