A solid fuel boiler room, which has no analogues in Ukraine, was in Tyachiv

The construction of this facility is the first but very important step in energy independence of not only the city but also the entire Tyachiv district. And since the project so far is the only one in Ukraine, we can talk about the level of Transcarpathia and the country in general. There is no doubt that in today’s challenging economic conditions, it is more important than ever.  Having the natural resource base, residents of Tyachiv can significantly reduce the consumption of natural gas by replacing it with alternative fuels.

So, on the occasion of the opening of the facility, the main investor, CEO of the "Kolbe Energy" Lubomir Kopchik was invited to the celebration, which coincided with the celebration of the Day of Tyachiv. Government representatives, deputies of district council, hospital staff were also invited.

Congratulating the participants on such a remarkable event, the head of Tyachiv District State Administration Petro Holubka emphasized that the boiler room would provide heat for the hospital and would save about 250 thousand cubic meters of gas per year. For current rates, it is a very large sum

Tyachiv district authorities will continue to work towards saving energy, and the power of this boiler room will allow to heat other objects. Next step is introduction of saving technologies and transition to alternative fuels in the district.
