Czechoslovak period of Uzhgorod architecture

The Open tour in Uzhgorod will be held in the Halahov neighbourhood that was built during the Czechoslovak rule in Transcarpathia, the Tourinform Transcarpathia informs.

This neighbourhood of ​​the city of Uzhgorod can be considered a unique place, because the interwar architecture in the style of constructivism is presented there as widely as almost nowhere else in the world.

The tour will include: Pushkin Square, the building of the National Bank, Masaryk’s school and now the school №3, the Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod National University, the Square of the President of the Czechoslovak Republic Masaryk, transport bridge, the building of Transcarpathian Regional Council, Narodna Square, and other buildings.
