Chop students became benefactors for “Green Berets” (PHOTOS)

Recently, the Chop border guard detachment was visited by students of the local school №1, near which the border guards are stationed. Schoolchildren held a moving and, at the same time, patriotic campaign – they raised funds and bought food, hygiene products for the needs of "Green Berets", who will go to the east, in the ATO area. In addition, they added to the financial aid very moving letters and drawings for defenders of the Motherland and presentation of the national flag.

However, during the event, another touching moment took place – Serhiy Klochanyk, an 11th grade student, handed border guards a bullet-proof vest that he had purchased with his own money that he had been saving for the purchase of an expensive mobile phone. As the graduate said, while the state and our soldiers are in danger, the phone will wait.

Border guards were pleasantly surprised by this patriotism and sincerity of their young benefactors, they expressed their boundless gratitude to them and the director of the school Yevhenia Demchik and assured that they would do their best to bring peace to Ukraine. After all, is it possible to think differently when soldiers support their people, and the people support their soldiers?
