The situation in the eastern Ukraine, where the anti-terrorist operation continues, remains difficult. And we all rely on the Ukrainian army and volunteers. Therefore, it is necessary to help those who protects our peace.
In Uzhgorod district, a volunteer organization "Carpathian bee" was established. Volunteers from villages of Korytnyany, Nevitske and Kam`yanytsia decided to support our defenders. The activity of volunteer groups began with collecting food and household and hygiene items in the supermarket Wellmart. They were collecting cereals, pasta, canned food, dried fruits, spices, tea, coffee, sugar, cigarettes, water, clothes, soap and other means. With the slogan "Do not stay indifferent" and the motto "One Nation", people were keenly listening to the information, and coming back from the store, many of them would bring food or something else for soldiers. They also donated money for night vision devices, which cost about 3,000 UAH per unit. The Volunteer District Organisation "Carpathian bee" thanks Vlasta Negra from the village of Storozhnytsya for cooperation and training young volunteers.
The collected food was given not to intermediary organizations, but directly to the military unit of Uzhgorod.
