“City accents” invite Uzhgorod residents to a charitable flash photo session

The initiator and organizer of the photo contest "City accents" suggests an additional project for a good cause. He invites: 

"Dear friends! Summer is running off like the water in the Uzh. Soon, gray autumn and winter sky, rain and cold will be interfering with many creative plans. But the summer is not gone yet. Let us make the maximum use of it and of still relatively quiet time, so that we would not have regrets later. 

Spendings: 2-3 hours of your own time.

Gains: a mark in the history of the city whatever it may be…

Idea: to hold within our competition a separate creative event for masters of lenses, apertures and exquisite artistic vision.

We announce for all willing Uzhgorod residents a charitable flash photo session "City portraits." People willing to become models are invited to the Mustard Seed lane. If it becomes too crowded there, then we’ll go to the streets. We are making the selection of faces and city mise en scenes of one day in summer of 2014. No competition between photographers. Just artistic documentation. For history. If this works out, it will be published in a separate section of the printed exhibition catalog.   Here it is – Uzhgorod of the watershed year. I will negotiate with the regional state archives, and the collection will become an official document. If we are lucky, we will make a separate exhibition under the auspices of the city and the auction.

The participants will be our esteemed jury members (some have agreed). I ask you to suggest other photographers. I think they will agree.
The event can be held next Sunday, August 17. There is still time to gather people willing to work, and to participate as models.

Friends, life is short! Moreover, nobody knows if we will have another such opportunity soon. People need such things now. To remain humans.
