Top rhythmic gymnast in Ukraine will be competing in Uzhgorod

Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship of Ukraine among adults

1 – 4 of August, 2014 at the sports complex "Yunist" (the city of Uzhgorod,  Zankovetska st., 5), there will be the rhythmic gymnastics championship of Ukraine among adults.

August 2, 2014 at 14.00, the opening ceremony will be held.

The event will be attended by masters of sports and top 25 candidates for the master of sports of Ukraine. About 200 athletes are expected.

The organizers expect the teams from different regions (Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Transcarpathian, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Kharkiv regions, the city of Kyiv and the Crimea), as well as the National Team of Ukraine.

Uzhgorod is ready to host the sports event of this level, because it will not be the first time such competitions are held here (two cups of Ukraine have been held here).

The main judge will be the President of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation of Ukraine Albina Deriuhina – Hero of Ukraine, Honored coach of Ukraine, Honored couch of the USSR, the head coach of the national team of Ukraine in rhythmic gymnastics.

Known favorites in rhythmic gymnastics – Anna Rizatdinova, Victoria Mazur, Anastasia Mulmina – will participate in the competition in the individual program.

         The competition will be held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the Gymnastics Federation of Ukraine Transcarpathian and the regional branch of the NOC of Ukraine.
